Thank you for helping me stay calm. I bought 2 SoftStartRVs, one for me and one for a friend. Self assembly was easy. Compressor start was very quiet, no more knocking. My wife and children don't wake up in the middle of the night. Before we installed SoftStartRV on my friend's trailer, we tried to run his 13,500 BTU air conditioner with his single Honda EU2000i alternator. With the Honda in ECO mode and the air conditioning fan running at low speed, we tried starting the compressor. The Honda went into overload and then went out of load. After installing SoftStartRV, we ran the same test. The air conditioning started up fine and the Honda's overload light didn't even flicker. The SoftStartRV system should be standard on all RV air conditioners. Thank you again for a wonderful product.
