
I deducted a star for the lack of temperature control, but my grilled chicken was perfect! My last one was red too and I fucking used it! Almost every day for about 4 years and not once have I managed to cook the perfect piece of grilled chicken or fish! I only threw it away because the color on the back was starting to fade and didn't look good, but it still worked. meat on. Otherwise it will appear to be cooking and not being fried. I also always spray in Pam first and when it starts to brown slightly I add chicken/fish. My last one had temperature control but I think I'll learn it soon. I've read some reviews about them suddenly not working, but then again, my previous experiences with GF grills have always been great. (NOTE: I do not recommend washing the plates in the dishwasher, the water is too hot and will affect the function of the plates, after which the food will stick. They are easy to clean in the sink with soap and a sponge.)
