I made what I call an Australian mount (attached to the front of the grille) for a ham radio antenna. It worked absolutely perfectly, the angle allowed me to easily route cables from the front of the Chevy Colorado to the cabin. I couldn't find a cable with a screw end, so be aware you may need to cut the PL-259 and install a new one after the cable is connected to the truck. Otherwise you will need a large hole to get the end of the PL-259 into the cab of your car. I recommend. Cons: The PL-259 connector is not the kind that unscrews to run cables through cubicles, walls, etc.
