The cables are a little thin.

This is a thinner cable than should be used. I saw some losses in testing due to the wire. It works out? Yes. Does it work as well as a better quality cable? nope But it works.

Ideal for mounting on the protective grille of the front bumper!

I made what I call an Australian mount (attached to the front of the grille bumper) for the ham radio antenna. It worked absolutely perfectly, the angle allowed me to run cables from the front of the Chevy Colorado into the cabin with ease. I couldn't find a cable with a screw end, so be aware you may need to cut the PL-259 and install a new one after the cable is connected to the truck. Otherwise you will need a large hole to get the end of the PL-259 into your vehicle's cabin. I recommend…
