received it yesterday and tried it, the conversion to digital is quick and painless, the final product is acceptable for a smaller magnification, this too is expected from a small original (35mm). Actually expected a worse, more degraded conversion. to reload a slide placed on the wrong side. Also, avoiding using a PC can be used if you are doing something else, e.g. B. watch a program or are not on your PC. Another plus is the preview, which lets you either continue or exit. Overall a very handy option for more complex media such as a scan, I'm using an Epson Perfection 4180photo, great images but slower (about 1 minute per image), needs to be on computer and requires more steps, still used for select slides. Unfortunately have to return/replace as a hinge on the slide holder broke but Revain is the reason I buy as they provide excellent service. No regret
