The coating on my Ping Anser 5 was peeling off in less than 3 years. I only remove it once at the start of each round so I wasn't satisfied. When I looked at the prices for an OEM replacement I figured there was no way I was going to spend that much money on something so cheap. So I looked around a bit and saw this. It feels very solid with good cushioning and despite some reviews the magnets are pretty strong. For 1/5 the OEM price I got a better quality finish that will last for many years. Buy with confidence.
