Review on 🦍 Enhanced Black Carbon Cage - XLAB Gorilla XT by Darnell Golden

I bought these bottle cages as part of the Xlab hydration system on my trike. I originally had a pair of Bontrager Race Lite cages that looked cool, but I had trouble starting the bottles on even the smallest of bumps. I don't want to sacrifice race day dehydration which is why I bought these cages. Buyer Note - Note that the XT cage is different from the original Gorilla cage. I called Xlab and found the only difference was the grip strength (2x more than the original Gorilla). Since they are cheaper I don't see why you should buy an original cage. On my first ride with these cages at the same track, I lost bottles of Race Lite setup. I'm happy to report no problems, the bottles didn't move. No problem installing/removing water bottles in cages. I never thought I would say that buying a $40-$50 cage is worth it. but these cages are worth the money.
