I used the Logitech G 430 before I bought it. Although the sound quality of this headset is much higher, it lacks one component that has become a necessity. Because it's so good at noise-cancelling, it doesn't repeat sound from your mic into your headset (which the G 403 did by default). This is important if you have good noise cancellation. If you haven't experienced it, imagine a deaf person speaking. This is because your brain is missing audible outbursts from your verbalization. As a result, you may strum oddly in octaves or obscure your own voice for long periods of time. If you have muted, the output audio will be repeated directly to the microphone input. If you don't use the push to talk feature, you'll rape your friend's ear every time you turn off the mic. (I've only had two headsets that did this in the past, no matter what system they were on. And I just can't figure out how something like this passes QA testing or even R&D testing.)
