To be honest I've used patches on my skin to touch up small areas and it has worked much better than this material. I smeared it on and although I tried 3 coats it didn't penetrate the area I was trying to repair on my leather chair. Someone damaged it by putting conditioner on their hair (get it yourself). A gray ghost is still visible under this gel. Also, I have found that it is very easy to remove by wearing it or with a detergent, even just water, even after several days of drying. Don't waste money.
