They are accurate. I attach them to wine bottles and know when my wine is at the right serving temperature and when it needs to go back in the fridge. If your Chardonnay needs to be served at 50 degrees Fahrenheit, it can quickly warm up while sitting on the counter. I keep my fridge cold, my wine needs time to reach a good drinking temperature. Great product, recommended. PS, if you use the included adhesive sheet, they are only used once. You cannot remove them without destroying the thermometer. That's why I glue them on.
