It is best to increase the size and make it free and you can easily remove some of the necessary pins. I used this collar on my 90 lb dog. It will be a bit difficult for some people to detach, but I can easily detach the prong and make it small to suit my dog. It is very well made and has good rubber tips. Easy to put on and take off.
