These loafers from Aldo Gwiewen are the perfect addition to my wardrobe due to their comfort and versatility. These loafers are similar to slip-ons or espadrilles. This includes a very comfortable foam(?) insole that is printed to look like cork. I can stand on my feet in them for a long time and have no pain in my legs or ankles, which is amazing considering the minimal profile and materials. I also really like their off-white color and clean look - they go great with shorts on summer days, but also pair with pants or jeans when it gets a little cooler or when it's too formal for shorts. . I'm not usually the type to wear slip-ons, but these are starting to change my mind. The only thing I would change about the design is the brown material or color around the heel. I think they should have just kept the same off-white material. But that's only for aesthetic reasons - functionally there is nothing bad about the material. It should also be noted that the insoles are removable. This is useful for completely removing sand and dirt from the slipper. However, on a very hot or humid day, your feet can stick to the insoles and cause them to slip out of your shoes or move when you remove your shoes. This means you have to adjust the position of the insole and it can take about a minute for it to return to the ideal position. This is just a minor inconvenience for me, but something I think is worth noting.
