The heels are quick to put on, they have really flimsy plastic, maybe even some nylon that's more or less the backbone of the heel, when you kick your shoes into those arches, click and stab those calves in about a month. Use when thin plastic cracks. Once you remove the plastic, it's almost impossible to put the shoes on without a shoehorn or sew the tongue to the boot space at the back. I wish they had a little more shin support.
