Great headphones but no ANC

Holy chickens! What an amazing time we live in! If an unknown company can put together a very competent pair of BT headphones like this for $50-60, I know the wireless headphone market has become ubiquitous. I bought these for training and am very impressed with their feature set, although some features fall short of expectations. Here are the pros and cons to know: Pros: Comfortable fit with a good choice of ear tips and wings. I don't usually like earbuds, but they don't bother me - good sound quality. I mostly listen to audiobooks or podcasts through my headphones, but music is fine with this non-audiophile compact USB-C and Qi compatible charging case. Removing and replacing the earbuds is very easy - good battery life. I easily got 5 hours on a 30-40% charge - the left transparency mode works quite well, making it easier to talk about these possible downsides: - the controls are simple and intuitive, but not as responsive as I'd like. There's a touchpad that sometimes confuses a double-tap (play/pause) with a single tap (louder right, quieter left) - although this feature is advertised as ANC, the feature is virtually non-existent. In fact, higher pitched sounds like metal on metal didn't seem to be amplified. It is best to leave them with the ANC switched off and rely on the passive noise cancellation provided by the in-ear proximity sensor. It is not possible to use only one handset. Both will pair automatically and the audio will be played by both even if only one of them is worn. It's not a deal breaker, but something I appreciate about AirPods. That's all I can think of to share my experience with these headphones with you. Turns out I've never used them for phone calls, so I can't comment on that. Again, I bought these primarily as workout headphones and they excel at that.
