Review on SRAM Rear Derailleur Black Long by Ken Arellano

Bought because I wrecked a Shimano Acera by picking up a stick while trail riding. I have 3 bikes each with a Shimano drivetrain --- so far. This derailleur shifts very smoothly and quickly, and because it keeps more "tension" on the chain, it eliminates most chain slap over rough terrain. Just be forewarned as Sram states in their description of this derailleur - YOU MUST MATCH WITH SRAM SHIFTERS - this derailleur is a 1 to 1 ratio, most Shimano derailleurs are a 2 to 1 ratio and the derailleurs are not compatible . But in the end the investment is worth it.
