This is a great product if you have quite a few fish to feed and plan to use up the entire container in a few days. My show guppies and measles ate them until they were stuffed. Fresh is always better than frozen. However, I don't have enough fish to eat an entire can before it goes bad in the fridge after a few days or has to be frozen in small portions. Once frozen, you lose the benefits of this great fresh option. For those of you with multiple aquariums and lots of hungry fish who love fresh mosquito larvae, it's worth giving this product a try and leaving the frozen mosquito larvae in the freezer. You'll love them because they contain nutrients that frozen worms typically lose. Excellent purchase!
