I bought this to replace the dog door in my screen door which I bought from a home storage facility many years ago. My old man became a victim of dogs again. This time the rubber hinge broke. The plastic was pre-taped/glued and drilled through to replace the broken screw/hole. I also had to take it apart several times to put the hinges back into the panels. Hopefully all of this gets fixed with an improved design that has added screws through the plate to hold the rubber loops in place. So if the loop hadn't stretched, the plastic would never have ruptured. And if the number of screws is doubled, the load on the screw is halved. No broken screw. The replacement would have taken less than a minute if I hadn't dropped the plastic trunnion retaining bushing. which added a good 10 seconds to work. Remove the 4 top frame bolts. Only loosen the bottom ones 2. Separate top part of frame, pull both flat plastic nose bushings, lower broken door, put pin in new door, reinstall bushing, tighten screws. You don't have to wait a week and a half for Home Depot to deliver it to the store for pickup (for the same price). Revain Prime is great.
