I was expecting cheap plastic like most of these things. This is a very nicely plated metal. The connection points are strong and tighten with ease. The only thing I can notice is that the thumbscrew closest feels like it could come loose if you're not careful. Otherwise I had no concerns. I trust this mount with any compatible microphone.
