Manufacturing gets 2 stars, accuracy gets 4 stars for the price.CON'S:Blade is bowed, but easy to straighten.All corners on all heads and on blade are sharp, but no burrs.Protractor degree dial is slightly out of round but spins easy.Protractor does NOT have the three pins, shown in picture,on the degree dial.In all 3 heads, the slits for the blade are NOT centeredwith the blade hold down pin holes, which means onlyone side of the blade may be used! You must eithermill or file the smaller half hole to use both sides of the blade!Also, since there is much play in the holes for the pins,the hold down screws are cocked where only a partial bit of theflat on the hold down screw makes contact with the blades groove!The hold down pins will have to be replaced after a while, maybewith some PEC brand for $4, should fit?PRO'S:Protractor head checked at 45, 90, and 120 degreesusing Law of Cosines. Each measurement is offby less than 1/2 of a degree with respect to blade.Square head, with respect to the blade,is out of square by less than 1/10th degree usingLaw of Cosines.The accuracy is fine for almost all metal and wood tradeson short 12 inch measurements.Protractor now has metal spring seats.Blade and protractor are easy to read.
