I bought this knife because I was learning how to bake sourdough bread during the pandemic and slicing with my old Calphalon bread knife is always a problem, even after sharpening. This knife arrived today and I decided to test it on a Publix subwoofer I bought for lunch. I asked them not to cut the motif in half, so when I got home I cut it myself and this knife goes through the whole motif like butter. It's almost scary how easily he cuts through the bread and all the ingredients in between. Please buy this knife and be careful when you use it. It's so spicy. But you won't be disappointed, especially at this price point.
