This was a "downgrade" for me if you consider the Audioquest Dragonfly Black I replaced is a few bucks more expensive. But I can tell you that I always had a subtle hissing with the Dragonfly and the speakers were never able to go completely quiet. This, even after a spent a bunch on replacing every cable in my setup including a USB Jitterbug from Audioquest. The D10 cleared up every issue I was having right out the box. It wasn't the cables, it wasn't a ground loop hum, the D10 is just better. It also sounds fantastic to my admittedly untrained ears.
