My Needle Story: I've used fancy ebony needles, the Majestic set from Knitpicks, double-pointed steel needles from Knitpicks, and cheap bamboo clover needles. The cable is a thousand times better than any other interchangeable or round cable I've tried. It's stiff enough to keep the other sock securely in the magic loop, yet easy to manipulate and position where you need it. Just real joy. And I think it looks nice too. The tips of the needles look the closest to my steel cord picks, but the metal feels better in the hand. Knitting needles seem to suck the warmth out of my hands. You'll warm up and feel comfortable almost immediately. Plus they're lighter! The tips are sharp enough to weave braids and lace well without snapping the yarn. Very happy with the build quality. In fact, I'll probably get a replacement set from Chiaogoo just because they're that good!
