I used to think these were great towels and bought several. I've noticed lately they've been piling up horribly on my truck. The villi on the glass are particularly visible. It's like the fibers that stick to the paint, like fiberglass insulation. They won't rub off, I have to hand wash them to get them off. I never thought these towels would have this problem as they have a plush side and what I would call a thick woven side. Unfortunately I have to stop using them on my cars. I have super plush Eagle Edgeless TRCs that seem to last but are a bit more expensive. I always wash them in microfiber wash. I would say they have been washed less than 10 times.
