I have tiny pills that I always need to cut in half.I've tried a bunch of these and they always manage to crush half the pill, or cut it 3/4 for one "half" and 1/4 for the other. Not helpful.This, on the other hand has rigid plastic pill guides below the blade, which do a great job centering the pill. Thus it cuts more accurately.It also snaps shut, so your extra pill bits are not likely to go AWOL.I would buy this again, or for anybody who needs pills cut.Caveat: that blade is sharp and there isn't much in the way to protect your fingers!
