I have used many pill cutter. This is best I ever used. Yes it is plastic and some customers mentioned the angle to me a minor thing. I use a small screw driver to line the pill groove up. You don’t have to do that but I do. I tried it without lining it up and works well. Pill does not crumble. I am buying an extra one.

I split a week's worth of asperin-sized pills at the start of each week. This makes it fast, easy, accurate, and clean. Most of my pills split cleanly. Sometimes there might be a slight residue. But mostly just quick, clean splits. It's made well enough. I'm very satisfied. It's exactly what I wanted.

The pill splitter is sturdy. It did not work well for very small pills. It tended to cause them to not break correctly and/or crumble.

It doesn't splinter the pills and so far (several months of weekly use) has not become dull. Hint - push pill into top of "V" shape holder and press down slowly for most accurate and cleanest cut.

The Pill Cutter is sharp, but does not hold the pill in place while you are attempting to cut it. Nothing but plastic. No flexible material to hold the pill. You can cut pills with this product, but is very frustrating.
