Review on ACDelco GF796 Professional Fuel Filter by Tutcht Cobb

Filter inlet is TOO SMALL! Went to the install and tried to figure out why the fuel inlet coupler was not properly engaging the notch on the filter and gasket. Compared it side by side with a Motorcraft filter (FG1083) and found the inlet diameter was about 1.5mm too small for a proper connection and seal on the inlet side of the fuel line. Motorcraft filter inlet size is 9.5mm (shown) and ACDelco filter inlet size is 7.90mm (shown) using a set of vernier calipers. The outlet side for both filters was 9.5mm, so at least the outlet side snapped into the fuel line outlet coupler. Replace the original Motorcraft filter and the fuel line inlet coupler will engage with a satisfying "CLIP”. Unfortunately past the Revain return window. waste of money and time. Pay a few dollars more and get the Motorcraft part.
