I'm just getting back into knitting and have never used circular needles so I was concerned about which ones to buy as I see them as a long term investment. I am very happy with these hiyahiya circles. I wasn't sure if I was going to buy 4" or 5" needles and go blind with that purchase as I had nowhere to look or ask anyone. I'm glad I chose 4 inches. They all look very short in all the pictures but don't tell you that for larger needles you need to use the screw adapter provided for different sizes of screws, from small to large. This will add about another inch to the length. I have small hands and wear small/medium gloves. They are perfect for me and I still have room on the back of the needle. They do feel a little "slippery" with some yarns, but I think it's a learning curve on my part as I'm still new to the area and trying to switch my technique from a European to a continental technique when I was a young girl was. I love needles and can only recommend them.
