A little high

It seems to be a very good air cooler, but it is too big and high. I installed it on ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-A GAMING WIFI motherboard. It takes up a lot of space and seems to cover almost 1/3 of the motherboard. It clears the height of the next RAM module. No installation documentation is provided, but there are several installation videos that you can find on the mentioned website. I only looked at one, but it was for installing an AMD processor and wasn't detailed for the installer the first time. Luckily, with my little experience installing a CPU, I was able to figure out that the flat bracket goes under the motherboard and so on. There are 2 different sets of poles supplied, but you can only use one of them as the nut set only fits one of the pole sets. I was happy when I completed the installation until I installed the side panel on my standard size ATX computer case and realized the fan was too big for the case. The top of the cooler was touching the side panel and I was concerned that if I attached the side panel the fan would put pressure on the motherboard and damage it. So I removed the fan assembly and will replace it with a lower profile fan assembly. I don't know which one is not suitable. Is that my ATX case or fan tray? I like the fan assembly, but if you want to use one you'll need a PC case that's a bit wider.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
