Great sound, and by that I mean no line hiss or hiss. I've used them straight from my MacBook to my KRK studio monitors and they're great for a quick setup. My only gripe is that they're connected in such a way that the distance between the left and right edges is only 2ft, so the speakers can't be placed further apart, but that's no big deal. In addition, the ends are colored. marked black and red, but not marked left and right. But they definitely do their job.
