From the many previously posted photos of this stand I thought the center armrest might be stuck, protruding over the smaller tablet and looking unsightly. like my small 7" tablet at an angle I like to tilt it at when sitting at my desk. As you can see in the pictures it can be adjusted low enough not to overload the center support above my tablet (Nexus 7) I was almost ready to just buy a small and cheap photo frame stand for 99 cents but I'm glad I chose this stand which was made for the task It's not just rubber coated. the inside of the armrests that the tablet rests on, but it also has rubber on the bottom to prevent it from sliding easily across the table A few things I would rate negatively are 1) sometimes when I use the Moving my legs and adjusting the stand almost felt like I had to use so much force that something would break, and 2) if you want to set the tablet up in portrait mode with the webcam on top and the charging port on the bottom you can't the power supply g while the legs keep it just 3/8 inch off the tabletop, which isn't enough for your regular micro USB cable. USB Type-C or Lightning (see picture).
