UPDATE May 2021: I still love my iron! It is often used for both straightening and curling. It works exactly like the first day and I am very happy with the quality. I've also gotten better at it so I don't have to use the glove (I usually use the 375 setting). Highly recommended! Original: Overall I am happy with this iron. I've been using a curling iron for many years and this model makes curling even easier. If you love those beachy curls/waves (as opposed to perfect cylindrical curls) this is a great tool for this look. Locks the iron "closed" great for travel - swivel cord works great - nice smooth plates A few cons: - This iron is hotter to handle than previous irons I've had. A glove is a must for use as heat transfer around the tip easily burns! (She speaks from experience!) - I can't get the temperature to 355. The scale freezes at 340 and 375. 355 blinks between 355 and 340, but 355 does not hold at all. good and gives excellent results. Remember to use a glove!
