I ordered this because I have neuropathy in my hands and kept burning myself moving the Melitta drip from cup to cup. I wanted something I could drip 2 cups of coffee into without moving my Melitta. It is great. But firstly, it doesn't keep the coffee warm at all. Even with a stopper. After a few minutes I have to warm up my coffee in the microwave. Second, ceramic acts as a heat conductor. If you touch it, you'll burn your hands. The cork around my neck helps, but it's not big enough, and if I'm not careful where I put my fingers, I could burn my hand. Thirdly, every time you clean it, you need to remove the cork from the neck, otherwise it will turn brown and coffee will drip under it. It's easy to remove, but I can see the rubber band holding it up eventually stretching and tearing with repeated use. Fourth, the drip coffee cone insert is round and doesn't work with my #2 coffee cone filters, I'm not sure which filters would work but I have a drawer of these so I had to use my plastic dripper again. In general it has its advantages but to be honest if I had to buy another one I wouldn't. Wasn't worth the price.
