Glad I bought the 3M version as it works great. Before purchasing this steering wheel, I read many reviews about many brands. 3M had the best ratings. I have a work truck and was hit by a large wheeled vehicle. The rubber on her car was wrinkled and covered my entire work car from tip to tail. Lots of rubber, plastic and paint transfer. The quotes I received for the renovation seemed high. I used this to remove the above translations. I would say it removed a good 90 percent of all transmissions! Looks way better! There were brownish spots in some places, but not everywhere. As mentioned in other reviews, use light pressure and slow speed when using. I am very happy with the results and am still working on it when time permits. I needed a really broken car and it got so much better and I'm not ashamed to drive and park it around town. It took about 4-6 hours or about 2 hours at a time. Sometimes I just dried myself with paper towels. I only used it on glass and metal by the way. I'm not sure if it works on anything else. Worked very well on glass, just a note.
