This box is actually beautifully designed. This is a very strong and durable box. I bought this because I wanted to be able to run 4 mic cables through each box as well as 2 monitor mixes. Well, after soldering and connecting all the microphone wires, and then connecting the speaker wires, I found that the box doesn't close after connecting the monitors. The problem was that whoever designed this box didn't take that into account. Speakon cables are actually very bulky. The speakon connector should have been at the bottom, not at the top. If I think about it, I would change them before proceeding with soldering. Since I didn't do this, I had to disconnect and re-solder the connections after switching connections. Honestly it's not that big of a deal but I would definitely like them to change the order of entry. But most importantly, remember this with every purchase so you don't make the same mistake I did. But the box itself is nice, solid and at a great price.
