Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Enhanced Air Quality: Puroma Cabin Air Filter with Activated Carbon for Toyota, Lexus, Scion (1 pc) by Chad Gue

Large heavy filter but impedes airflow

I was very impressed when I opened the box; at least twice as thick/heavy as a factory Toyota filter, so I was thrilled that I paid half the price of a Toyota filter. until the air conditioner turns on. Immediately I noticed that the air just wasn't blown like it used to be with the Toyota filter, and since I live in a high desert temperatures of 100+ are normal in the summer and lowered AC isn't going to help. Not sure if this was a technical oversight or if they just decided the filtration should be superior to heating and cooling performance or something. . . but it definitely reduces airflow on my 2012 Sienna. I completely removed it while waiting for another replacement and my van cools back down to a comfortable temperature in minutes. I certainly hate to dismiss a product as "too heavy", but in this case it's definitely outside the scope of the design. Parameters that the vehicle manufacturer had in mind for this cabin filter.

Cons
