This seemed like a great and easy way to convert vinyl to mp3. I liked the compact design of the suitcase type. I knew the built-in speakers would probably suck, but it didn't matter. Writing to a flash drive was pretty easy. I had to figure out what "hitchhiking" was and eventually turned it off. The manual doesn't tell you much and doesn't describe how to record. I haven't found a way to set the bitrate and it only records at 128kbps. I wanted higher quality. In addition, the gramophone needle picks up almost no bass, so MP3 recordings sound tinny and lack depth. There was noise too. In a short while I tried it, it turned off and on like a reboot, a couple of times just randomly. It wasn't me because I didn't touch anything. But I had to restart the recording because it stopped in the middle. It wasn't what I was hoping for and I sent it back.
