To do this, I used my fingernail to dig into each corner of the sticker multiple times until I had dug enough to grab onto it, and then peeled off what I could (maybe only 1 or 2 square inches came off each corner) . Only the top part peeled off 1 or 2 inch/square leaving most of the sticker on the dust box. I then placed a piece of paper towel over the entire sticker, soaked that paper towel in acetone, covered the paper towel with a thank you bag (HDPE plastic bag) to keep the acetone from evaporating, and let it soak for I don't know how long, but more than 25 minutes. After that, most of the sticker came off with minimal scratching (I used an old nylon zip tie to scrape it off), but much of the gunk remained, so I put the paper towel, acetone, and plastic bag back on and let it sit. for another (about 25 minutes). After that, most of the mucus was scraped off with a medium-power scraper.
