The most obvious problem we had with this machine was that the remote worked the first time but stopped working the second time. And I completely removed the remote's battery between uses to ensure it didn't accidentally die. The light on the remote is still flashing and the vibrator itself still works, but it looks like the remote and vibrator are no longer connected. The vibrator still works with its own button, but this button is on the part that rises inward. It seems pretty obvious to me that the button should have been on a little "dick" of the dangling vibrator - that would make the remote almost unnecessary except when jogging or at the gym or whatever. . I think I was more excited about building my wife's muscles than she was. She says if I work her muscles with that thing, it's already too much. It doesn't hurt, but the vibration drowns out everything else that's going on. Well, she's the judge and jury on this case, all I could do was make an oral argument in court. She insisted I stop using it. final decision! Well, I sort of see where she's coming from. The gadget has many different exercise modes and seems very fascinating with its different vibration patterns, but all modes have one thing in common: they all vibrate with full power sooner or later. There is no "gentle" mode or "sensitive" cycle for this thing. Also, a softer mode or stepless "volume" control would make it quieter when it matters most. I can't say it mattered much to us.
