My son is 8 years old, 78 pounds, 4ft 4in and usually wears a size 10 pants. He has long legs and thick thighs so we usually have to go for a size 10. I ordered 10/12 hoping it wouldn't fit. He was too tall and looked more like 12 than 10. He was 2 inches longer on each side of his waist and his legs were too long and a bit wide. very cute and well done! I will go back and buy a smaller size and will update as soon as I get it. TO UPDATE! The new size fits perfectly! I chose 7/8 and it fits him perfectly. A little more room in the legs and sides that we're shaping right.
