Two men, one 30 year old and one 74 year old, were moving a 4 foot 400 pound Viking row using these straps. We carried it from the garage where we left it, down the side of the house into the kitchen, up two flights of stairs. I never thought two guys could carry a 400 pound item. We changed the way the straps are attached to the shoulder strap to make it more non-slip and secure. Using common sense, they allowed us to do something that would otherwise require a minimum of 6 people.
