I repair a lot of tractors and relays everywhere. But unlike your car, these relays are exposed to all kinds of water and spray cleaners. This tool makes it easy to test these items. What I don't know and the documentation doesn't mention is how to test the actual relay contacts. The relay is on, but you don't know if the contacts are being tested. It would be nice to have a way to hook up an ohmmeter to test the contacts. The docs only say it checks the relay contacts, but there's no indication that the contacts are dirty, overbent, or corroded. Maybe I'll buy another device and modify it to be able to connect a measuring device.
