We really didn't like the dated look of the standard chrome bumper pads so we bought them. Although the quality is admittedly poor, once installed they match the rest of the bumper and look great. Their installation can be difficult. To remove the old bumper pads there are 3 bumper clips on the bottom and 2 on the sides (which are much harder to access on the inside of the bumper). There's also a steel alligator clip on the inside of the bumper that's almost impossible to remove. From what I've researched, most people just pull on the alligator clip and break it rather than trying to disengage it. Bumper covers are safely installed without them. Also helps loosen the black plastic on the rear bumper prior to installation. Proceed with caution, however; There are a lot of plastic fasteners on the bumper that you DO NOT want to break. It took about 2 hours to install both bumper connectors. It's not as easy as it sounds, but it's certainly doable if you watch the YouTube video on how to install it. Much luck!
