This book does not contain an abbreviation section. I chose this book over others because of the pattern charts for each stitch (a big plus for me to remember the pattern). However, the book lacks organization. I don't like how the content is organized. This will emphasize stitch patterns too much. This makes the reader feel like there is no proper table of contents. On page 186 there is a section on symbols and abbreviations. This section should only be "icons". Although it contains explanations of abbreviations, it is not sorted alphabetically. I have a random pattern with "WYIF"
