I received a remote control but it didn't work with new batteries. I noticed that the lens on the front didn't fit properly on the device and tried unsuccessfully to get it in the right position. For almost an hour I tried different things to get the remote to work with my TV. Vain. Not a drop of life in this thing. I contacted Revain and offered a no refund refund. Then I just wanted to throw it away. Then it dawned on me that the device was probably not getting power. I took a chance (which I had to lose) by taking a steak knife, disconnecting the positive electrical wires inside the battery compartment and adjusting them to make good contact with the batteries. Unfortunately, it came to life and everything worked. So I called Revane late at night and canceled the return. I spent a lot of time and imagination making something work that needed to be quality checked and tested to make sure it worked before it left the factory.
