Although I just received this item this is a great electric heater. Heats up quickly and is very, very quiet. I like that when I'm done I can hold it with both hands and pour out the contents without the bowl getting too hot. However, for me as a disabled person with limited grip strength, the dial is very difficult to turn and this machine doesn't seem to have an automatic stop after the water boils. If you leave this thing and forget it, it will keep working until your water runs out and the unit overheats I guess. Not good.
