I bought 3 of these in advance for a multi-state move with cats because I figured it would give them room to move. There's room in there, but two of the holders didn't come with clips, one had a handle that was hollowed out so you couldn't use it (falls off immediately), and the pins holding them together keep popping out. The gate in the front is loose enough for my cats to unhook (with a rope to keep it closed during the day while we drive). And the base isn't weighted, so if your cat leans to one side or the other, they'll tip over. I would return them if I could but I didn't check them in time. They end up in the trash after this trip as I don't want to tie my cats up every time I need a vet.
