So when this says it is tabbed, the tabs don't stick out; it's just that each month has a greyed section on the edge of the page so you can easily find each month when flipping through the planner. I add my own paperclips to each month view to make it more usable for easy referencing back and forth. I love the size, not as big in dimensions as a notebook but not tiny either.One note: I don't think the one I received is by the seller listed here (or the seller isn't the same company as the one that makes the planners). The gray and white banner along the left side in the image wasn't present on the one I got and actually looks to be a photo of journals I've purchased in the past from a different company. All that to say, the journal made by BooQool that I received is adequate for what I need it for with no glaring errors or reasons to complain.
