. Check out the experiences of others. All indicated that this type of instrument is mandatory. Has worked well for the 15 clubs I've recaptured. Not sure how long it will last before considering sharpening it. A tip is to hit the tape with a butane gas flame before breaking it to loosen the glue. After removing most of them, I found that using acetone (or another sticking solution) was the easiest way to remove the remaining tape before re-sticking. Easier than trying to remove it with this tool.
