It's the best purchase I ever made, I will definitely do it again.
I bought a typewriter for my daughter for study in July 2022. I saw a lot, but I chose the Bernina brand based on reviews. Sometimes I use it myself, but rarely. Shorten, hem on it turns out well. In addition to the main lines, you can decorate with scallops, I tried it on curtains, it worked out well. Thick fabrics were not sewn, but on medium-density fabrics it behaves normally. If you're just learning - a great option as for me.
- The machine is simple, light and compact, there are enough operations for teaching a child to sew. Suitable for household use too. Easy to customize. Accessories are sold for it in any sewing store, although not everyone will need them, we did not buy anything for it, because the manufacturer did not stint on completeness.
- It makes a little noise, perhaps due to the type of shuttle, or maybe it's just how it is with us
