
Works great on Linux. I wanted this to work in bit burst mode at different voltages (just set the lines high or low instead of using the serial port). This works with libftdi/pylibftdi. You only get four I/O lines: TXD (low order), RXD, RTS, and CTS. VCC and Ground occupy two pins. Note that to use bit burst mode you must disable each serial connection: 'rmmod ftdi_sio'
